How did it feel to be the Man of the Season 3?

 I am proud a bit to have won this event, with only one race won really. But it was the right one - the final race. It was the first time i won something in VSK .

 

What was your most memorable race in Season 3?

It was the last race of the Quarter Finals (VSKFUN vs VSK DANMARK). VSK DANMARK reached already the Semi Finals and therefore we (VSKFUN) decided to race Map 7 with strong current. It was a very friendly, fair and funny race.

 

Tell us a little about you - Sailing, hobbies, where you from...?

 My name is Philip and i live in Switzerland, near lake of Zurich. I started sailing with the age of 4 - my family then owned a small keelboat. Later - i was 16 - i started racing on 420 dinghies and later on 470. Now i'm racing an Onyx (a local sport boat) and i am also a core crewmember on the new Quant30, which is built after a concept from one of my friends.

 

What you have to say about VSK TEAM LEAGUE?

 I think it is a good event. But the fleet with only 12 boats is a bit too small in my view. I don't know if it would be a good idea but if 3 teams sail in one race. the number of boats in the would rise. The counting system could be like this  1st=3 points, 2nd=2 points and 3th=1 point
